Monday, September 18, 2006 : my 21st birthday
i am so getting old!! & it's been a long time since i haf last written here!
know why i said that?! coz i am bloody 21 yrs old now..!! time really flies!! when u just came into this world, you were a tweeny baby..! den when you know it, you are 12!! the next thing that happens is you are 20!! den you start thinking, i haf bloody live on this world for 2 decades!! den now... i am freaking 21!! argh...2.1 decades have pass my life..!! & all i noe...i haf achieved nothing that i can be proud of!! okay...the only thing i can be proud was the time i "shoot" this ah pek till he was speechless! i don remember whether i haf wrote it here before...! but nevermind, i shall write it again!! i was working at corochan on a fine saturday...this uncle was demanding about how come our famous corokke wasn't on offer..! i patiently explained to him that we haf a certain period of time offer for our corokke...! since he was looking for CHEAP flavors, i kindly introduce him to our latest offer... then suddenly he went nuts & asked: "Girl..how come i never seen you ard here? you must be not here for long!! how come cannot give me discount?" i was like so shocked at his question, but i juz smiled at him at continued offering other corokkes to him...pity it didn't worked on him, coz he continued "your 1st time working izzit? how many day or weeks are you here ah?" with this sentence, i simply not happy with his kind words! i juz replied with a deadly smile plastered onto my face!! "Uncle, i have been working here for the past 3years!" hahha...wat a good counterback!! LOL...the ah pek immediately shut up & got his food...! before going off he told me that he was just kidding with me! hahha...i told him nicely that i am aware that he was just kidding with me..!! but it was really fun!! Chris, my colleague, was sniffling with laughter at the back with my "3 years" reply!!! haha..you shld have seen the face of that ah pek!! it changed completely!!! ok...back to the original topic of mine! arrgghh...i am freaking 21!! a birthday wouldn't be a birthday without a celebration! well i juz came back frm a celebration with my CDAC frens! we had "zi cha" at Katong...! it was alot of hesitation on where we are going to eat & how we are going to meet...! but in the end we had "zi cha"! it was not a bad idea actually..!! we can order the food we like...! LOL...i haf prawns..some more it's those "drunken prawns"!! had deer meat, "you tiao", sambal kangkong & fried "sotong"! it was a fulfilment!! especially with all the fresh prawns i had!! after dinner, Junjia & Sharon got a birthday cake from Awfully Chocolate! i've heard of that shop, but i nvr tried their chocolate cake!! the cake was superb!! it's really chocolatey...so in other words!! it's really sinful!! but sin is good!! LOL... after the cake, we ended our day playing pool at Katong Shopping Center! it was fun...Sharon even manage to play really well in pool, considering she nearly made her friend vomitted blood, trying to teach her the other time...!! pity that Meitong & her sister, Meiting can't stay for long..! as Meiting had to attend school later!! maybe the next time we meet, we can get together to have a mahjong session that Sharon has been itching to play! LOL... well to end the entry...i decided to put a few pictures taken just now..!! cake from Awfully Chocolate, presents from Meitong, Meiting, Sharon & Junjia! & all that is left now is present frm Lye Yong!! enjoyz...
