Monday, September 18, 2006 : my 21st birthday
i am so getting old!! & it's been a long time since i haf last written here!
know why i said that?! coz i am bloody 21 yrs old now..!! time really flies!! when u just came into this world, you were a tweeny baby..! den when you know it, you are 12!! the next thing that happens is you are 20!! den you start thinking, i haf bloody live on this world for 2 decades!! den now... i am freaking 21!! argh...2.1 decades have pass my life..!! & all i noe...i haf achieved nothing that i can be proud of!! okay...the only thing i can be proud was the time i "shoot" this ah pek till he was speechless! i don remember whether i haf wrote it here before...! but nevermind, i shall write it again!! i was working at corochan on a fine saturday...this uncle was demanding about how come our famous corokke wasn't on offer..! i patiently explained to him that we haf a certain period of time offer for our corokke...! since he was looking for CHEAP flavors, i kindly introduce him to our latest offer... then suddenly he went nuts & asked: "Girl..how come i never seen you ard here? you must be not here for long!! how come cannot give me discount?" i was like so shocked at his question, but i juz smiled at him at continued offering other corokkes to him...pity it didn't worked on him, coz he continued "your 1st time working izzit? how many day or weeks are you here ah?" with this sentence, i simply not happy with his kind words! i juz replied with a deadly smile plastered onto my face!! "Uncle, i have been working here for the past 3years!" hahha...wat a good counterback!! LOL...the ah pek immediately shut up & got his food...! before going off he told me that he was just kidding with me! hahha...i told him nicely that i am aware that he was just kidding with me..!! but it was really fun!! Chris, my colleague, was sniffling with laughter at the back with my "3 years" reply!!! haha..you shld have seen the face of that ah pek!! it changed completely!!! ok...back to the original topic of mine! arrgghh...i am freaking 21!! a birthday wouldn't be a birthday without a celebration! well i juz came back frm a celebration with my CDAC frens! we had "zi cha" at Katong...! it was alot of hesitation on where we are going to eat & how we are going to meet...! but in the end we had "zi cha"! it was not a bad idea actually..!! we can order the food we like...! LOL...i haf prawns..some more it's those "drunken prawns"!! had deer meat, "you tiao", sambal kangkong & fried "sotong"! it was a fulfilment!! especially with all the fresh prawns i had!! after dinner, Junjia & Sharon got a birthday cake from Awfully Chocolate! i've heard of that shop, but i nvr tried their chocolate cake!! the cake was superb!! it's really chocolatey...so in other words!! it's really sinful!! but sin is good!! LOL... after the cake, we ended our day playing pool at Katong Shopping Center! it was fun...Sharon even manage to play really well in pool, considering she nearly made her friend vomitted blood, trying to teach her the other time...!! pity that Meitong & her sister, Meiting can't stay for long..! as Meiting had to attend school later!! maybe the next time we meet, we can get together to have a mahjong session that Sharon has been itching to play! LOL... well to end the entry...i decided to put a few pictures taken just now..!! cake from Awfully Chocolate, presents from Meitong, Meiting, Sharon & Junjia! & all that is left now is present frm Lye Yong!! enjoyz... phew time really pass very fast when you are so engross with working! it's gonna be 5more days to my birthday!! & i will be freaking 21!!
saw quite alot of guards patrolling the control station while i was going home from work, from Raffles! DD said they are the policeman! but unfortunately, they look more like civil defense people to me! haha..maybe it's because of the uniform that they are wearing! anywae, manage to end my day peacefully, not counting that my boss threaten to cut my salary if i continue with my 5mins late schedule!! haha...well i am alright i guess!! 'cos corochan is always doing that to my salary! well it's not that i wanna be 5mins late everytime!! but i guess that the people working in the CBD area are really a bunch of SLOW people!! thy walked really slowing & they are a bunch of selfish freaks...!! they always filled up the seats on the train!! i seriously don't get th point of them having to seat down!! i mean think about it!! they are like forever sitting on their desks in the office!! wouldn't it hurt for them to stand for their journey?? selfish freaks...!! so back to the previous topic!! so i got on the train 2 head back home for my tutoring...as the train was slowing moving out from bugis station, it sudden came to a halt! wow...thx god that i manage to grab a seat during the city hall station!! coz the sudden halt was really "powerful" that 1 of the lady, who was standing, fall & hit the floor!!! luckily her butt was the thing that hit the floor!!watching the scenerio, it kinda reminds me of the same incident that happened to me! it happened when i was in secondary school, i was taking a bus to the interchange! then at the traffic light near the interchange, the bus sudden came to a halt! well instead of falling on my butt, like wat happened to the lady...i kinda fall into someone else's arms...!! what's so embarrassing was that, it was in the arms of a guy! somemore he was from VJC!! Oh My Gawd!!! i was like totally embarrass!! thankfully, i didn't see him the rest of the journey to school from the interchange, as his school was just a bus-stop away from my school!! Phew... well at least i nvr haf to see him again!! LOL...guess we both are truly embarrass of what happened! well that concludes the whole of my post!! Damn...my pathetic 21st birthday is coming!! & guess wat? it's my birthday month!! haha..well that's the happy part..! the moody part... im gonna be an adult..!! a real adult..not some young adult anymore...!! juz the thought of it, it's like so scary lor..!! haiz...i am freaking gonna be 21yrs old!!! i mean when you 1st hit the 2 in ur life...u start to think: "Oh my gawd...i have lived 2decades of my life..!! i am so bloody old right now!!" well!! i guess i should stop here...'cause in 6 days' time, my very good friend, Louis will be having his b'dae celebration over at his hse!! can't wait!! =)
